Long Horn is a winner. My wife & I have eaten there several times. The food is well prepared. Prices are a tad high but the quality is great. Portions are adequate and service is usually quite good. Except weekends there can be long wait times to get a seat. They go above & beyond to keep you satisfied. One of only a few I rate near 5 star.
DO NOT STOP!!. Me and My Wife stop by on the way back from San Antonio we saw it in TV in Dallas.. But we have no Longhorn steak house near us. it was around 1:00p.pm. It was light lunch crowd.. We ordered the Rib eye with bone it was kinda pricey ..When we tried to eat the steak it was 80% fat, we had a hell of time trying to eat.. We told the waiter he gives us no comment and walked off…to boot I forgot my Credit Card … I called them and asked for my credit card to be mailed to me ..I have yet to see it ,has been 2 weeks going on 3 ……I have never been so disappointed in a long time
Good food, slow service. Unlike other reviewers, we actually enjoyed our food. Pork chops had a great flavor and super moist. We got in right before the dinner rush. Our waitress was great until that happened, then we didn’t see her again.
Steak was tough, potatoes were dry, services was slow and not very friendly, and the drinking glasses were really dirty.
Overated. 4 words sum this place up, Texas Roadhouse San Marcos.
Worst Service in Town. As the title would suggest I’ve been in twice and have not gotten anywhere near passable service from the wait staff or their bar staff. First time in took 5 minutes to get my drink order taken at a table, 18 minutes to receive said drinks and place my order. Food was passable first time, however their steak trimming is not acceptable. The waiter wasted time on his phone while Im sure my bar drinks were waiting, Manager made it up to me by comping two rounds of drinks for me and my date…This leads me to my second time in…I sit at the bar and expect to get prompter service, however, with 30 mins left before they close the bar decides to close down and do last call 10 minutes after i get there, they then made themselves scarce for the rest of the night, even after I expressed a problem with the cut of my steak, I ordered the Filet and got 3 oz of fat on a 7 oz steak. Dont even waste your time.
Waste of time. There are much better places to get steak in new braunfels. Food was cold done completely wrong and staff was bad.
