One of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. This place seems un assuming. Not fancy but quite nice.. Mixed in with a sports bar. Mozie’s offers one of the best if not the best burger we’ve ever eaten and we eat out a lot. Their prices are a tad high especially for their garlic fries but the taste will win you over. The burger is not all dried out.. Juicy & full of flavor. Haven’t tried their other items but if you’re craving a awesome burger give this joint a try.
Wonderful meal! We both had the burgers and they were great and huge. The skinny fries were perfect match to the burger. Great liquor selection behind the bar. Our server Lauren made the experience one will remember for years.
A must visit while in Gruene. When you walk in you will notice how narrow this place is. According to the manager, it was unusually busy for the time I was there (9pm) I also asked him what this building was and he said it was a bank back in the day. Now lets get to the good stuff! Sliders were excellent. You can get 3 with no side or 2 with a side for 10$. I chose to get the side and picked Garlic Fries. Sliders were lathered up nice and greasy and the fires were extra garlicky….really hit the spot! I want to point out how good the service was and how personable the wait staff and manager were too…Awesome place!
Our food took over 40 minutes to get to us and the waitress did not come back once to ask if we needed anything or to even let us know that our food was taking a while. Terrible service I doubt that I will return.
Ate here after reading the good reviews and noting the high rating. It didn’t disappoint. Friendly and efficient service, clean table, excellent food, clean restrooms. This establishment thoroughly warrants its >90% rating.
Long Bar, Cool Atmosphere. After a day of shopping in San Marcos we wanted a bite and drink on the way home. We were just in time for happy hour. I ordered a Key Lime Pie Martini and my partner ordered a Hand Shaken Margarita. The quality of juices and liquors make these drinks worth while. Mine even had a frothy top and indeed tasted like a tart key lime pie. The fresh juices in the margarita really made a difference in the taste of this classic cocktail. We also ordered some cheese nachos and anticuchos to snack on. The nachos are ok, they use a longhorn cheddar that I’m not particularly fond of but the pickled jalapeno strips & carrots are good. The anticuchos have a delicious flavor of fiesta and the avocado/cilantro sauce is a great dipping side. This is another great place to try while in Gruene.
