This must be the Mc D’s of Sea food,, makes Red Lobster look like an upgrade. Should have walked out when handed a menu when walking in. Told to look it over and walk over to the order line. Yep get that one, you look over the menu standing then place order and are given a buzzer then go to a very uncomfortable booth and wait for it to buzz. Then go over to counter and pick up your food and drink. Small portions shrimp served on a stick that is wrapped in alum. foil. Place reminds you of a school cafeteria in seating and food presentation. Only got even 1 star because at least it was not bad food, taste was OK but very small portions. Had no idea what it was going to be like as it is a new place in town. Had expectations of a real nice seafood dinner in a real restaurant. Grand Daughter saw the place and loves sea food and wanted to go there. She is 10 ,she would not eat her shrimp was begging grand son for some of his chicken. Her shrimp is now in our fridge still mashed on the stick it came on. WE actually had to make her something to eat when getting home.The hush puppies lived up to their name, our dogs enjoyed them. If you will be satisfied eating in a school lunch room with shrimp mashed on a stick go for it, price is right food is not bad. A dinning experience it is not. Well yes I guess it is but one to remember not to go back. I did get a little laugh, one item on the menu was senior shrimp. I asked the girl if that was old shrimp, she didn’t get the joke though. OH well I tried.

Love Sea Island. Food is fresh and hot and service is relatively quick. If something doesn’t turn out right they always correct it. My faves are lemon pepper fish, fish tacos (love the poblano sauce), spinach. Never had anything bad here.
Great Seafood place. Lemon pepper fish is the go to for broiled fish along with the Aransas platter for fried seafood. Always spotless and staff very helpful.
