The Aroma Is Heavenly. Was looking for a lighter breakfast so we stepped into Theis German Bakery (located inside the Fork and Spoon). The aroma when you open the door is to die for and when you step over to the display case you can hardly believe you eyes all the delicious looking choices. After looking a few minutes we purchased an apple strudel, poppyseed roll, and pretzel. All of the bake goods we bought were as yummy tasting as they looked and smelled!
Located inside the Fork and Spoon. Real German cakes plus bread loaves and rolls.
I cannot find this place. Is it closed. The phone number is a cell phone
Bakery. Theis Germany bakery has the best bread since I left Germany many years ago ,the bacon Brotchen are awesome and the chesse Brotchen ,u really have chesse not like in a other german bakery in Killeen -Harker Heights where the cake tast old ,the brotchen are so hard after a couple of hours and the prices to high the way to New Braunsfeld is it worth ,nice day to spent and than a nice treat in Theis .thanks my friend for coming to New Braunsfeld
Finally a real German Bakery in New Braunfels. Forget Naeglins they call themselves a German Bakery, their cakes are just as sweet as all the other bakeries in Texas, the bread can be squeezed flat. Theis German Bakery is the real thing, just like what you get going into a Bakery in Germany. So good, we had a view different Broetchen (Rolls) and today for the first time saw they also sell Laugenbroetchen, Pretzels and Sticks. We also had a view of their Suesse Stueckle, not sure what they call it, it is kind of like different kind of Danishes. We tried their Bienenstich, no idea what that is, but it is like you bite into a piece of Heaven lol. And today we tried the Schwarzwaelderkirschtorte and got a taste of the Mandarinen Kaeseschnitte…. have no clue what they call it in English, because so far I talked to either the German owner, his son or today this really nice German lady from Heidelberg……. and the best news is that in August he will have a real German cook working for him…… can’t wait….. yummmmmm
Folks this is the real deal. German Broetchen, Breads, cakes and pastry. Yum!
