First timer. Sweet n sour sauce was gummy and pasty. Egg drop soup was not soup it was more like jello. Some good was cold and chewy. Didn’t have enough Chinese food. Had to much other stuff like pizza tacos chips fries and chicken strips. Nothing stood out and for Chinese it was below average. Would not go back.
Best Chinese Buffet (IMO). We have been going to Evergreen for years now and they are the standard by which we judge other buffets and I must say, few have measured up. Evergreen has the BEST hot & sour soup…it’s actually hot and sour! Pretty much everything is tasty and there is a great variety, everything from sea bass to steak (on weekends) and everyone’s faves like; potstickers, eggrolls, sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, beef & broccoli and without a doubt the BEST crab rangoons.
Great desserts. We went at different times and it wasn’t so hot when they first open, literally. If you can figure out the best times when the food is hot and ready, let us know. When it’s good, it’s pretty good. But when there are few customers, like when they first open, a lot of the food is fresh out of the refrigerator and not heated up. But in our experience every Oriental buffet does the same. So I would say, if you really like eating Oriental, you’ll be happy eating here. No complaints about the staff, they were friendly and service was fine.
