Great Food, Great Value. The American Dollar may be weakening with our economic downturn but at Waffle House you can still get the best bang for your buck at this local eatery. Location: This particular Waffle House is conveniently located off of Loop 820 and Grapevine Highway, it makes for a quick stop on the way to and from. Ambiance: The general mood is pleasant, the employees and cooks are always friendly. Music is sometimes played from the Jukebox, anything from Johnny Cash to the much hated Waffle House songs which may get food thrown at your if you dare to play one of these. You have been warned. Quality of Food: Greasy. If you are someone who is watching what you eat then you may want to avoid this place. If you are someone who is wanting a good, filling, real breakfast then this is the place for you. Definitely good to eat, but not necessarily good for you. Cost: Cheap. Its amazing that competitors such as IHOP and Dennys charge you so much more compared to Waffle House. Your dollar will take you much further at Waffle House than it will its competitors, especially after the recently implementation of its DOLLAR$ menu. Service: The waitresses here are always friendly and fast. Dont think about giving them a hard time unless you are ready to take it in return. Waffle House is known for its World Class coffee, I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot personally attest to this but you will see coffee mugs scattered everywhere when you walk inside. I believe that speaks for itself. If you are in the mood for a filling breakfast with great value then I suggest the, All Star Special. Consisting of 2 Eggs, 2 Pieces of Toast, Sausage or Bacon, Grits or Hashbrown, Biscuits or Gravy and finally a Drink or Coffee, all for $5.79. This is definitely a bargain you cant beat. All in all, if youre in the area and need something fast and on the cheap, youll always find an open seat and friendly faces here. ~bon appetit~
