March 2019:As promised, I gave this place another try this week to see if it was any better. Long story short: It was. The dining room was as clean and comfortable as before, and the service was, if anything, even better than the last time. Prices are also pretty good here.The things that were good before — the pupusa, the plantains, the cheese and crema on the #2 Breakfast Plate — were just as good. The things that weren’t good before — the beans and the eggs — were vastly improved. The beans had flavour, although the texture seemed a little loose; but I don’t care, because as a rule I don’t really eat refried beans, a seemingly pointless concession to weight loss. The eggs, now … They were perfect: moist, light, fluffy, cooked to the absolute moment of doneness. It would not be too much of a stretch to say they were the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in years. Tremendously better. Eating here makes me not want to go. The quality of the pupusa doesn’t make up for the awesome bitterness of the coffee, the eyeglazing blandness of the beans, or the dryness of the scrambled eggs.On the plus side, the dining room’s clean and comfortable, and the service is good.

We were on the snowy mountain, for a while. I am the companion of my companion little wolf. Its name is Kalil.
