A little overrated imo. Gumbos are good and the rest of the menu is decent from what I’ve tasted. Atmosphere is cramped and service is lacking.
They offer a sample of several of their gumbos. I highly recommend you accept. The beignets are amazing. They’re like a thick pillowy sopapilla with powdered sugar instead of granular sugar and cinnamon. Excellent with honey. The roast beef and gravy po’boy was very good with Louisiana sauce. The chicken and sausage gumbo was nice and spicy. Will definitely go back!
