Rude, closed early leaving customers outside 30 minutes before closing time. Rude service. I wouldn’t return. The food is not worth it for the poor service.
Reviewing for Sushi/Sashimi only. Of course Midessa cannot have a good sushi/sashimi place. The fish was not at all sushi quality. This was exaggerated by the fact that they cut the fish very thick. Allowing the dry/freezer burned parts of the fish to grind on your tongue instead of melt in your mouth as it should. The caviar had a bizarre crunch instead of a burst as it should. When I ordered sushi the thick cuts of fish would not stay paired with the tiny ball of rice that accompanied it. Wasabi was not real (ground from Wasabi root), just horseradish wasabi paste. The caviar and salmon row was daftly wrapped in seaweed around rice and also was falling apart. True sushi lovers won’t get their fix here. But if you are the type that likes your fish disguised wrapped up with other items and colorful sauces, maybe you won’t notice. If you are a classical purist you will not be happy. I had read about sushi orders being incorrect so I requested a pen and paper and wrote down the dozen pairs that I ordered for us and gave that to the waitress.We also ordered pan seared tuna with jalepeno which was decent.The environment was okay. The prices were low. Would not return.

Walked through a lobby area with a full service bar into the larger dining area. Visibly, there was a long sushi bar area to the mid . The seating area wrapped around to the left and had bar style seating.Once seated, we were wow’d by attentiveness. Our beer and sake never went dry. All of the sushi and sashimi that we had was amazing. Top quality and brought out with care. It was awkward at first how much they attended to us, but soon felt appreciated.I will definitely return.
LOVE this place! Awesome food! Well worth the money spent!
