Wanted to place an order over phone. The person taking order asked me to hold for one minute and kept me waiting for more than 10 minutes. I can hear the individual talking all personal things to another customer at the background – where is he from, that he is filling in for his friend Amar as he went to his country, etc …. I wonder what is the priority for Briyani Express …. serve it’s customers or wasting their time ….
I recently got into eating Indian food. I’ve always loved Mexican food because of the different spices. The first time I had Indian food I fell in love with it. I just moved to Pearland and this is the only place out of all the restaurants here to get Indian food. The owners probably know me as the white dude that buys all their coconuts but the food is delicious. I’m big on cooking at home because I like to know what’s in my food. For the most part their groceries are clean and I’m glad to live next to this little treasure.
Awesome Indian food in Pearland!. What a find in Pearland! I stumbled upon this place almost by accident, but I am so glad I did. Swadeshi is an Indo-Pak grocery store that also serves delicious Indian takeout. They have a good variety of meat and vegetarian options, with many delicious curries. We have sampled many items, including samosas, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, saag paneer, and navaratan kurma, and all are delicious. Their menu can be found at http://swadeshigroceries.blogspot.com/. Prices are also excellent, most dishes are between $5-$9. For $20, you get a very excellent takeout meal for 2 with enough for leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch (although it is so good you probably won’t leave much). I highly recommend Swadeshi for excellent Indian fast food!
