Went tonight. I’ve been once before, 6 years ago. I reaffirmed why I hadn’t been back. Food is mediocre at best. The chicken fried steak’s breading was thicker than the meat, which was VERY thin. The mashed potatoes were just okay. The salad wasn’t bad, same with the cobbler. Atmosphere is decent. Likely won’t return.

EXCELLENT service every time we have been in. The milkshakes are made on the spot and quite yummy. The fried pickles are great, and the chicken fried steak is really pretty good. Each time we come in the staff greet us and we instantly feel comfortable and relaxed. We even brought our priest and our minister there for a breakfast / pre-wedding meeting. We will be back again and again!
Great breakfast. Try the country potatoes.
Good service and a nice easy going quiet atmosphere. Resturant was clean. They have good chicken fried steak and sides. And fast service. Not sure about the other stuff. The sweet tea a key part to any southern meal had a bad taste not sure if it’s because of the local tap water or what. But stick with sodas.
