Iguanas Ranas Cantina-Pearland, Tx. I went the beginning of Oct.; they had been open for about 2 weeks. The tropical Salad was phenomenal, waitstaff were superb, prices so reasonable. The presentation of the food was a feast for the eyes. On Oct. I stopped in for lunch and had to ask the waiter twice for clean menus; there was what looked like guacamole smeared and dry on both of the ones he handed me. Come on…they are heavy laminated…take them back in the back and use a Lysol wipe on them!! I did order two crispy tacos which came standing up on a metal stand which was nice. The rice and beans were super hot on their plate as well, and the waiter was very polite. Food was good and the presentation very appealing. I will go back, but I don’t want dirty menus handed to me. As I said, that is ridiculous when they are heavy laminated and easy to wipe off.
Service. We had to send our food back 3 times!!! The food was okay don’t get me wrong. But when you can’t get someones order right in the kitchen there is a problem. Seriously ridiculous. 4 plates of food came to our table, wrong the last time still but we were so tired of sending it back that we ate it anyways. AND STILL GOT CHARGED!!! we got a $4 discount.. WOW we were there for an hour and did not enjoy our time there at all. Seems that every time we go, they cant get our order right. It wasn’t even a big party! Just 2 people!!! I have worked in restaurants my whole life. YOU DO NOT CHARGE FOR AWFUL EXPERIENCES.- not going there again-
Best Mexican food in Pearland. Fresh ingredients. Visit twice this week.
