Wonderful breakfast, have to eat at Lila’s every visit to south Texas.
Food vs Service. The food was outstanding. I had the beef/chicken mix fajitas with green bell peppers, onion, and tomato. It comes with rice and beans, 2 tortillas (your choice of flour or corn) I had flour, guacamole, and pico de gallo. My son had Chicken Cancun. (Grilled chicken breast with yellow cheese sauce with rice and beans. For dessert we had sopapillas.I would give it a 4.5. My sopapillas were burnt which is why the 4.5 instead of the 5.The service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. For that I give it a 2.5. I guess they didn’t think people spoke Spanish but my son does. The waiter and cook were discussing inappropiate subjects and cursing where everyone could hear. The wait staff were seated in the dining room and they were eatting and watching television instead of waiting on the customers.Although I loved the food and think the food is amazing I don’t think I’ll visit the resturant in the new future as I would have liked to.
Awesome. They have great food and the salsa is amazing.. I go at least twice a week to pick up salsa. I have order from them for parties and it has always been a hit.
Looks may be decieving. I really like Lila’s. Great hot sauce. I love the chicken tampicano. They have great breakfast too! Don’t let the exterior fool you. Good food- great prices.
