Sushi Chef not using Gloves while making Food!. I like everything about this place. But one of the Sushi Chef using his hands making Sushi, putting his raw hands into rice buckets, putting fish and meat on with his bare hands. That is so turned off!!! Wear Gloves, Please!

The concept is fun. You select the ingredients. There’s a variety of vegetables and proteins to choose from (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, scallop, eggs, tofu, squid, etc). You also select the seasoning and sauces. They have suggestions to help you. What’s nice is there’s sample spoons so you can taste the sauces. My kids like to watch their food geeting cooked on the hibachi grill. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. There’s also sushi on the menu. The sushi was decent. Overall, a good experience.
Lunch is always a good time to explore new food and my wife and I ventured into Mongo. The idea of customizing your own veggie, meat, seasoning and starch to your liking will satisfy any picky eater (though I am not one) at $9. Fresh sushi samplers are also available for under $8. Overall, a pleasant experience with flavorful food and attentive service!
$14.99 All You Can Eat!. Went to Mongo for the first time last night – i’ve been to Mongolian BBQ’s all around Texas and Ireland, and this was the best one I’ve been to yet. The portion sizes aren’t the biggest due to their somewhat limiting bowl sizes for putting the veggies and meats into – but they do have an option for $14.99 for unlimited bowls if you’re really hungry. The taste of the food of course is up to your choices for veggies, meats, seasonings, and sauces – but I found the spicy garlic to be quite good.If you’re ever in S. Houston, go by and check it out!
