Hey, can you come to Meadows Place? Seriously this place has good coffee! They’re blueberries muffins are good too, but it is the coffee that you come for.
Coffee is a very important part of my life and this is the best coffee in or around Pearland hands down!! Service is great as well. I do wish they would open a bit earlier than 7 tho.
One more terrific coffee venue here in the greater Houston area. Eric is a world class roaster. He gets it. Whenever road trips take me out this way, I pop in to pick up some coffee and have a chat. So, if, say, you are going to grab some barbecue at Killen’s, stop off at Pearland as well. I’ve found that black coffee brings out some interesting flavors when paired with any barbecue or sausage that has a good helping of black pepper in it. Great coffee, terrible customer service.. Y’all have incredible coffee, and I would choose to support a small business like yours any day over Starbucks, but the employees there are just rude enough to make me not want to come back. Here are some tips: Smile at your customers, they are paying you. Say thank you, or any polite words really. Look them in the eye. Maybe open a door when you see a woman struggling to get it open with 5 coffee’s in her hands rather than just stand there. I have been in your establishment 10-15 times and I have never been served by a pleasant employee. I do not like Starbucks but at least they do not act like I am bothering them when I come to purchase their products.
Mixed bag. I enjoyed the coffee but the owner soured my experience. I was snapped at when asking a few simple questions and when I asked to add some sweetener to the drink being made, I got a curt nod towards the pile of condiments and told to help myself.
Walked it to a great aroma of fresh roasted coffee. Had Uganda Coffee, Morning Glory Muffin, and a kolache. The coffee was on recommendation by employee and he was right. It was robust, but smooth. One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had. The muffin was outstanding. It was moist and full of a great carrot, walnut, cinnamon flavor. The kolache, not so much, like something you could get at any drive thru donut shop. The parking lot and exterior will not impress, but the coffee and treats will. I’ll definitely be stopping back in. Haven’t been previously because of the morning hours, now I REALLY wished they opened earlier.
I was very disappointed! A friend recommended this place but I won’t go back. The cashier was rude and he charged me $2.00 extra for ordering a breve latte. Really $2.00 etra for half n half? Starbucks only charges .50 extra. When I questioned it the guy was rude! If you going to charge someone extra you should let them know when the order was placed. What a rip off!
