The sushi was delicious, but our hibachi cook was horrible. It was my 6 yr.old daughters first time and our experience was nothing special. The cook lacked any kind of personality and we had to wait a long time for service. It will be a very long time if I eat here again..if I even return:(
Easily the worst sushi I have had in a while, and I have attempted to make my own in the past so that is saying something. Even a basic hand roll like spicy tuna is severely Americanized by adding fried tempura bits and making a paste out of the tuna with mayonnaise, gross! I realize every sushi chef has their own way of doing things to a certain degree, but this is a far cry from the art of sushi as I came to know it in Japan. My husband also wishes to add that the habachi here is nothing to write home about either. Under seasoned and in the case of the seafood undercooked. All in all a disappointing experience.
First and last visit. The sushi was good. However, that’s not a good enough reason for me to return when service was terrible. The hostess was not pleasant, no one in the restaurant including the manager would make eye contact, and basics were forgotten (took about 25 minutes to get first beer, no soy sauce containers, not enough silverware, they were ‘out’ of kids’ coloring pages, had to ask for everything before it was given). I’ve also never received edamame that was overcooked as this was. Dirty dishes piled up in the dining area for the entirety of our visit, service was extremely slow. Still wishing Pearland would offer a better sushi restaurant!
Great Sushi, WORST SERVICE EVER. The sushi was fantastic…however, they have THE WORST SERVICE I have ever experienced. The first time it was just my husband and I and we actually thought our waitress had left. The second time we were with a large group…about ten people. We soon realized that in order to get drinks it was best to order them up at the bar because we would be waiting 30 minutes when we ordered them from the table. Then, after our food came out we had to ask for chopsticks and silverware…which were brought to us with no napkins. We asked for napkins twice and they were never brought to us so we ate without them. Also, we had to ask for soy sauce as our table had none and the waitress brought us an almost empty bottle to a table of ten people. Our group decided to stay for drinks after we had finished our dinner and our table was crowded with dirty dishes and all of our empty glasses for at least an hour until two of us decided to get up and bus our own table. We moved all of our dirty dishes to another table and then found napkins on another table to wipe ours down. I have never experienced service this bad. The three places I get sushi in Sugar Land have amazing service, but unfortunately I live in Pearland now. This place has great potential if they would train their wait staff and possibly hire some more. Come on Pearland!! I need a good sushi place close to home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service was 5 star,the food outstanding,atmosphere welcoming. Allan GM, personally made sure my dish was not contaminated with shell fish,because off my allergies….We loved the experience,so did my 3 year old daughter…
