Love junction & massages!. Everytime im in McAllen or Pharr area I love going to Junction caf have been going for years food is delicious and reasonable prices! On top of that they have a massage school across the street so I go to Massage Masters as well for a massage with students before heading out to eat at Junction! Massage at Massage Masters in Pharr and lunch at Junction caf right after is the best!

Breakfast only. If your looking for excellent Mexican food, this IS NOT the place to go. They do however serve a great breakfast. Their omelettes are fantastic! That is definitely an entree I recommend.

Good eating. One evening in January of this year, (on a Sunday nite) I had no place to go eat. I drove from North Cage to South Cage and when I saw people inside of the Junction Cafe I stopped and asked how late they stayed open. I decided I still had one hour in which to sit, eat, and enjoy. I had the most delicious Mexican plate ever. The service was stupendous! I went to school in Pharr, and now am with a few of my classmates meeting there twice a month and I truly enjoy the atmosphere and courteous attention given to us. All in all what I am trying to say is that you need to come and experience for yourselves all the GOOD FOOD at the Junction.

Nice lil place….food wise was ok nothing great although I personally will stay away from bacon and sausage patties since both to me were horrible but all and all I like my experience there cuz its something different

Good Tex-mex food. This is a good casual Tex-mex restaurant. There are lots of varied items on the menu at good prices. One plate has 5 enchiladas on it; 2 beef, 2 chicken, and 1 cheese (don’t know why there’s only one of cheese enchilada, there should be two of those as well). The only thing I didn’t like about the deluxe mexican plate I had was that they used factory-out-of-a-box crispy taco shells and chalupa chips just like you get at the grocery store a’la Old El Paso or Taco Bell. The chips they give you with the salsa are the same ones they use for the nachos and are obviously made fresh in the kitchen. Next time I’ll tell them to make the taco shell fresh and not use the one out of the box! The boxed ones look too perfect, and have no flavor in them and the texture just isn’t right. The nachos had plenty of cheese and jalapenos. A nice thick layer of shredded American. The deluxe mexican plate was average because of the factory-made tortillas. The refried beans were good but the rice was too dry and had no flavor. The cheese enchiladas had plenty of cheese in and on them and the sauce was good but needed something; salt and/or more heat because it was too bland. A few drops of Tabasco at the table would fix that.I saw several other plates on the menu that I’d like to try so I’ll go back sometime but the place is too far out of my way to go often.Bring your own Splenda or Equal for your iced tea because all they have on the table is sugar that crappy Sweet and Low.
