Great food great atmosphere. I liked it. For an area of the state more known for Mexican food then Asian, it was a very pleasant surprise.
I wasn’t very impressed with the food, but the service and atmosphere were excellent. There was nothing spectacular with any of the stir fry dishes on the buffet – pretty much standard fare for any Chinese buffet. The sushi section only had various types of rolled sushi and the only type of fish used was salmon (which I detest). It wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.
I ordered a Banoso roll (crab, avocado, cream cheese, sweet carrot, shrimp, with plantain on top). I ordered over the phone and asked for there to be no shrimp. I picked up the roll, went back to work for lunch, and when I looked at the roll, it correctly had the shrimp omitted, but there was no avocado, no sweet carrot, and instead of crab, It had some mystery meat.
Had a great time at kurai mcallen. I had a great birthday at kurai..great service..delicious food!!!we loveeeeee this place.super yummmmi.thanks!! will go back very soon.
Kurai mission. Super clean tasting sushi and Chinese food,very attentive Chinese manager,helping me every time I went ,always checking sushi and buffet ,very nice to customer,i loved this place,great food and service ,and would frequent it often.
Great food awfull service. I went to the new buffet at mission, The decor is nice and new. Unfortunately it stops there.Food was descent but the chinese lady was very mean with the staff.Would I go back? NO! Would I recommend this place to someone else? NO.
