Initially I was very impressed. It looks and feels authentic. The cooked chickens hanging behind the glass combined with everything in Chinese was nice. Large signs adorns the walls with the menu on them. The daily special on the whiteboard is in Chinese. A few of the tables are set up for family style meals. The dishes can be set in the middle with a small turn-table to spin the dish you want towards you. About six people can fit at a table.Service is unacceptable. They are rude and disrespectful. My food was dropped at my table. She was already turned away with her back to me as she set the dish down. No words, confirmation or enjoy. After my second bite I noticed they got the meat wrong in my dish. They put shrimp instead of chicken. It tasted great, so I kept going. Somehow in the kitchen they figured out they gave me the wrong dish. When they figured it out two of them came to my table and argued in Chinese in front of me while touching my plate. Twice they came back. It was very uncomfortable for me. She even put me in my place by telling me that I should have told her I had the wrong plate. I thought I was being polite, plus it tasted great. Asian restaurants are endless. I won’t be back.
This is a well-run and well-established restaurant at the corner of Coit and Legacy in Plano. The food is cooked to order with attention to detail. The owner is also the operator and the waitstaff does not turnover frequently. The main area of the restaurant is clean and kept up. Tables and chairs along with drinkware are new and well polished. However, the bathrooms could use a remodel. I have dined in, ordered takeout and have had 369 delivered to my home. On the delivery, it was the actual owner who came to deliver the food. This is not something very common in today’s businesses. The owner also uses security cameras in the restaurant and kitchen to keep an eye on all areas of this business. The clientele appears to be a majority Asian, (which in itself is not a bad thing at a asian restaurant) and actually shows that the food is appreciated and authenticated by the asian ethnic group. The lunch menu is diverse and very well priced with the majority of the meals under $10. Dinner portions are larger and include a few extra sides but also are more costly.in my opinion this is a very well run Chinese restaurant worthy of anyone’s appetite.
Super nice owner and staff! I have been eating there over 50 times. The owner keeps on top of things. It is clean, well managed and good value.
Excellent homestyle Chinese. The pork and egg congee is a favorite. Great duck and roast pork. Also, very good Americanized Chinese food for the roundeye!
Excellent Chinese. I used to eat at First Chinese BBQ, several locations, but since trying 369 I have changed my view of which is the best in town. I have tried all the Chinese restaurants in Plano and I believe this is the best. Very tasty with fresh ingredients, a good quality of meat (it declined slightly in 2009), great duck, and a good selection of dishes.
Food was ok, service was pathetic. I’d heard good things about this place and my wife and I thought we would give it a try. I ordered the BBQ Pork with spicy salt she had the Mooshi Pork. It was too crowded but it took them 20 plus minutes to get our order which was only mine. The Mooshi Pork came out 15 minutes later. I hate to say it but if you’re not Asian you’re going to get ignored. At least that’s how we felt. I don’t know if they were understaffed or what. Needless to say if the food was better I’d deal with crappy service for a good meal.
Good Chinese food.. I eat here at least twice a month and have always found it to be good quality food. It’s usually packed with Chinese patrons, so that’s a pretty good sign in my book. One day I’m going to stop on the way home & get one of the freshly BBQ’d ducks that hang in the entryway. I try to order something from the whitboard menu’s on the wall every time I go & have yet to be dissapointed.
