An Unpopular Place. I came to Aki Sushi with a friend on a Wednesday evening at 7PM… to a completely empty restaurant. For the duration of our sampling of their sushi rolls, which were subpar to say at the best, no other patrons entered for the entire hour of our visit. That was telling in its own right, and confirmed with the lackluster preparation and taste.Strong pass to those who would want to give this a try.

I have always LOVED AKI….. I have been attending this restaurant for ten years. I even continued going to this place when they changed ownership AND name some years ago. I do feel badly for the group of 7 girls who received substandard service. I have noticed a slow service many times even with TWO going at lunch. I was going to take two girlfriends there tomorrow and will call to make sure they have the salad and soup ready! My husband loves RAJ better on the tollway, but many times they PUMP up the music so loud that we can never talk! BUT their tempura is to DIE for. But with Aki…I do hope they will improve on their service…I do get frustrated with their charge per coke can instead of having fountain drinks where we can get refills with no charge.BUT….in the end I do love their chicken teriyaki bento box for lunch AND dinner.

Pretty good – and they delivar. Had some really good sushi here tonight, sitting in my living room. We normally go to Genroku, but I have do do some work and the wife isnt feeling well so we ordered out. It’s not the best sushi I have ever had, that would be Genroku in richardson, but this is close (and did I mention they deliver)
