Angelo & Vitos have been around Plano for a long time. They are a good, reliable place for a lunch time slice. They have a standard simple decoration with things hinting at NYC, plus a lot of their own logos. Not bare but not exciting either. But that’s ok because this is a simple lunch place and not an elaborate white tablecloth restaurant. On my visit today the server pointed out the lunch specials – a slice, salad, and drink for $7. Very nice and helpful. The standout item, to my GREAT surprise, was the salad. A simple plate of chopped lettuce, chopped tomato, and some onion, with standard and maybe bland italian dressing. It should have been just a bit of roughage. Instead, the lettuce was blazingly fresh and crisp! Maybe not great but far above average and memorable. The slice was a large new york style. A little grease from the pepperoni, which is what you want and expect. The crust was just barely crisp and it liked it a lot. Not enough sauce (but I prefer most sauce than most people). There are better places for slices in Plano (Marinara Pizza!) but this was good for lunch. The only drawback I can see is that whenever I tried to carryout a pizza, but the time I got home the pizza really wasn’t very good. Maybe its the 10-15 minute drive but I’ve learned not to take pizza home from here.

Nice size House Salad. The slices of pizza are massive. The ravioli came hot so hot you need to really let it cool (5-10min) in order to actually taste it and not burn every inch of your tongue!

Angelos and vitos has the perfect setting for kids. Sometimes it’s very busy, but the food is worth the wait.

Was not impressed with the quality of the pizza or the pasta. Also, the paper plates and plastic utensils are are real bummer. Dinner here was a real disappointment!

Pretty good pizza. A little bit over-priced. Has the most pathetic salad I’ve ever seen.

Best pizza in Plano/North Dallas. I originally fell in love with the Angelo and Vitos in North Dallas, so the wife and I were ecstatic to find out that there was one in delivery distance of our house in Plano. This by-the-slice brooklyn style pizza is the bomb. Make sure to check out the Spicy Southwesterm, but you can’t go wrong with the pepperoni and jalapeno either. Get the big ass one delivered with a side of their homemade ranch. You won’t be dissappointed.

Rate: B+. Very good pizza either delivered, or there are a couple of booths within.
