Decent place for Indian food. Visited it over the weekend and was pretty crowded. Had the indian buffet which tasted okyeish. Service by staff was good amd was not impacted due to heavy crowd.
The food was awesome. The ambience is good too. The customer service was friendly as well. I will say overall experience was value for money Will recommend to others for sure.
A nice little restaurant in Plano.Hear good reviews from our friends so visited this place.Ambiemce decent.Very good service.Quick and polite.complimentary papad with mint and sweet chuyney.Papad were unlimited.Ordered veg corn soup.It was bland.Had to dress it up completely from salt to sauce.Nothing fancy.N ext came Gobi Manchurian. It was a disappointment. Not Manchurian but tasted more like Gobi Pakoda.Tandoori shrimp was fine.Could have been better.Best were the naan and nilgiri chicken.I recommend to try them both.best naan in town and delicious nilgiri chicken.
Decent ambience and great service. Picked up some beer and dropped in for a short meeting. The service was amazing. We had the chilli chicken and chicken 65 which were fantastic.
Aroma is a recently opened Indian restaurant located at Coit & Legacy. It has a clean minimalist decor with sage green walls, brown tables and pergo flooring. There are a few pieces of art on the wall. It’s well done, but not something that will leave an impression when you walk in. All of the employees and virtually every guest are Indian. The atmosphere is welcome and inviting. Service was attentive and polite. As a first timer, I would like to have been asked if I needed any help. We struggled with the menu and language barrier. We enjoyed our food. The free papadum (cracker) was very good. It came with two sauces. One seemed like pureed jalapeno! The other was a chili based sauce and was fantastic. We ordered Garlic Naan (puffed flat bread). It was puffy and charred just right. It came hot with butter melting on it. Another good dish. The aroma special boneless chicken Biriyani was wonderful. It came in a hammered copper pot, which presented very well. Our server picked it up and dished it out to both of us like home-style cooking. It was spicy hot, but I really enjoyed it. We also ordered Raagi Sankati with Chicken Curry. They were out so he suggested a goat dish. I said yes without really understanding what I just ordered. Turns out I ordered Mutton Masala which consists of chipped bones, fat and cartilage. While the flavor was really good, that’s not a dish for me.I really like this place. The food has great flavors. I wish they were more helpful explaining their menu and taking the time to walk a newbie through their offerings.
