Healty Options – Tastes Good – Huge Portions. Cafe Max has a limited menu with eight different salads, a few soups and a few sandwiches. I decided to get the Salad Sampler for $8.95. I was expecting to get a little bit of each salad. Instead I got a huge plate of Caesar Salad surrounded by seven full scoops of the other salads. It’s was huge. I ate maybe a 1/3 of it. The fruit was fresh and really good. The cucumber tomato salad had a great flavor. I really liked the chicken salad. It’s not the salad you are thinking. This has an Asain flavor. The others were okay, but not something I would order. I have a feeling if you like that style of salad it’s just as good as the ones I did like.My only issue with Cafe Max is the service. The two people working the front counter were not friendly at all. I tried to joke with them, but they were having none of it. If I did not ask a direct question, they did not speak at all.
