Disappointed. Such a disappointment. First off we get there to eat boiled crawfish and they were out. If you are wanting boiled crawfish, call before you go! We had the shrimp poboys, crawfish etoufee, and the beignets. The Crawfish Etoufee was way to salty, taste like a thick gumbo, and not enough crawfish in the etoufee. The shrimp on the shrimp poboys were battered in catfish/cornmeal, the shrimp were too small and also way too salty. The beignets were o/k, but I think we were so disappointed about wasting $35 that the beignets really didnt matter. When you go to a restaurant you want to be able to leave and have a good feeling about spending your money. Going here we felt like we wasted our money.

Fried pickles. Pretty good. No problem. touffe is good. As are pistollettes. Crawfish tails. All breading. Waiting on DNA analysis to come back to see if there was actually any meat. Salad, appetizer and entree 28 bucks and water to drink. You can do MUCH much better for those prices and portion size

Finally caught this truck in my area at lunchtime, and on Fat Tuesday too. With the benefit of seeing the food portions going out to others, I went for variety: the Chicken/Sausage gumbo (bland, even though the order taker told another person it has spice in it), Meat Pie (good meat, light on flavor), and the Crawfish Pistolette (great bun, I think it had crawfish tails in it, filling on the bland side too). For $18 without a beverage all I can say is it’s a good thing I’m not a big eater.
