Pricey Bring Your Wallet. 11/25/13 – wife won out and we visited again. They have changed he decor. It’s really nice. We shared two pizzas: wild mushroom and margherita on thin crust. Both were good as usually. The field green salad has been slightly changed and is now the Waldorf Salad. It’s really good. Two pizza’s and a half salad with tip $65. Ouch. Same impression.Original Review: The food at CPK is good, but not at the prices they want. I do not go to CPK unless my wife forces me. The prices are just crazy and no where near match awesome food you would expect at those prices. My traditional dish if not eating healthy is Kung Pao Spaghetti. I love it, but it is $10.25 + 3.00 if I want chicken added. Today I had their lite adventure Grilled Chicken Chimichurri for $15.00. It’s a single chicken breast with grilled veggies and a pesto zinger sauce. My bill for lunch with my wife was $37.00 including tip. She had a salad, I had the chicken, and we both had tea. No dessert. No appetizer. From time to time I cave and visit this place with the whole family after church. We easily drop $85-90 for lunch here. It would be even more if I allowed appetizers and dessert. I give CPK a thumbs down because the prices are unjustifiable. The food is good. If you have lots of descretionary money, then come sample good food. You can get this same quality elsewhere for the same price.
In the Shops of Willow Bend it’s just a little bit too friendly. A giant corral of strollers outside and always at least one inconsiderate mom with a screaming baby
