My first experience here was bad. First a guy came by and just threw the chips and salsa on my table and never said a word. Aftet waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come and at least ask me what i wanted to drink i just left. So if you like bsd service this is the place for you. Oh and the salsa was not that good either. Would not recommend this place to any one

Casa Mama was rated very favorably and we had never been there before, so why not give them a try!Om: We went here around 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, the day after Christmas. The place was not that busy, but I guess that was kind of expected. I noticed that they had a nice patio space when we walked in, so a nice place to hang out when the weather gets warmer. Good looking, clean interior too, with high ceilings, TVs, Tex-Mex dcor, Mexican pop songs playing, and wood tablesand wood benches that I wish were more comfortable! The waiter was nice and pleasant throughout. Chips & salsa came first, they were fine. He brought out a little chip appetizer, with some lettuce, bean, and sour cream topping? It was small but tasty. My entre of two chicken enchiladas and a taco were next. I went with some kind of green sauce on one, Ill probably just go with sour cream or cheese sauce next timebut again, everything was really good and tasted freshly made. For dessert Nom and I shared sopapillas, which came out as 12 mini versions of the normal size, with a dollop of cream in the middle. Hey, these were some of the best that weve had at a restaurant. I struggle so much with Tex-Mex restaurants more so than any other because for the most part they kind of blend together to me. Its like El Fenix, then everyone else. I think this was towards the top of the everyone else category because of the feel inside the restaurant, the nice patio, and the excellent sopapillas, but it was very similar to any other nice Tex-Mex place out there. Still a good meal and we would go there again!Nom: What a messy Saturday afternoon to head out but Mexican food on a dreary day is so delicious!! They did have a very pretty patio space and when its warmer and nice outside I can imagine this would be a wonderful space to sit and have a nice meal or have a drink and visit with friends! The inside was almost vacant but it was 3:30 in the afternoon, the most fun thing about the interior was they had Mexican pop songs playing! Our waiter was really nice and very fast and efficient! Like every Mexican place they start you out with a dish of chips and salsa. I couldnt eat the salsa it was super-duper hot!!! Like wow then he brought out a couple of chips with some sort of salsa and sour cream. Ok so I didnt partake because the salsa was way too hot for me. I ordered chicken flautas and they came out very hot! They were filled with a very tasty chicken but they werent very crispy. I like mine super crispy but they were tasty. The beans and rice were very good to but the tastiest and most fun part of the meal was the sopapillas. they were MINIs! and they were delicious! I look forward to a return visit when we can enjoy the patio seating!!

I normally have never felt the need to provide directfeedback like this but totally needed to in this case.My wife and I just left there after having that comboFajitas dinner. I must say I am VERY disappointed and we even eat therebasically for free on a gift certificate from a friend! The chip and sauce was the best part, (wonderful full bodysauce)! However, the beef was like eating beef flavored rubberbands, very tough and chewy!!The chicken and shrimp were OK but VERY Plain tasting. There was almost NO Mexican spices at all in any ofthe meal including the rice and beans!I have had frozen TV dinners that has more taste! It was all VERY bland tasting. In my own cooking while exploring Mexican dishes, Ihave produced much better results. For $32 I expected a lot more. You really need to work on your recipes and give itmore spice and flavor. To top that off, from the beginning to the end our waiterdisplayed a total negative attitude! The atmosphere was terrible with nothing but radio chatterin the background, (relaxing Mexican music would have been a much betterchoice)! And the same channel (sports) on every monitor, BORRING.This was the second time I gave your place a chance andunfortunately, I wont be back and cant recommend this place to anyone unlessyou make significant changes in your menu, waiters attitude, and theatmosphere.

Had two margaritas. Green Apple: 4.0Raspberry: 4.5 Chicken Relleno: 4.5 This was a little like beef Wellington, except it was chicken style. Came with a side of mashed potatoes and garlic toast. Chicken wasn’t spicy. Chicken was just very slightly over cooked. My reason for not a 5 was I felt maybe the chicken could have a little more kick. Still very good.I definitely recommend the margaritas. Pretty strong for a regular price of 6.50. Chips and Salsa were great. Fresh chips for both servings and hot sauce with a kick but not too much. I’ll definitely be back.

Best restaurant I think I’ve ever been to. The staff is so friendly and so on top of their game. They never let my drinks get low, the chips or salsa get low. We were in town for a U.S. Soccer game and they all wanted to talk about it and were so nice. I recommend this to everyone.

Casa Mama is a Neighborhood GEM!!!. Casa Mama since it opened is our GO-TO 19th hole offering a full bar. Authentic Mexican food is fresh, served promptly and attentively while the owners work the kitchen and the crowd. Everything is good. Cozy, often crowded inside and offers patio seating as well. Pairs well with friends and families.

Finally, we found a nice local place near house. We dine at Casa Mama almost every week since we found the place. Our favorites are tamales, Enchiladas specials, pork stew, and of course happy hour Margaritas. The stuff is polite, the prices are reasonable. We’ve been recommending this place to our friends/neighbors, and so far everyone was happy with it.
