Fantastic. Excellent selection of wines, great service, imaginative menu built to pair with wines beautifully. This was a genuine treat. The goat cheese beignets are a personal favorite. Pair with the Evolution NV fro Oregon.
Eh…. Service is rude, wine selection good, cheese plates better, food eh, atmosphere great.
If you like to drink over priced wine and watch people fawn all over each other this place is for you.
Rude. left after only 5 min. a server, standing next to me, openly and without regard was rudely complaining about his customers to the bartender.
Perfect date night. My husband and I visited Cru on a Friday night. We had the mussels, a cheese platter and yummy wine. This is a great place to relax and enjoy. No need to feel rushed out the door to seat another table, lingering over a glass of wine and a cheese platter is encouraged.
My husband and I enjoyed Cru a lot but I felt the biggest downside was that appetizers are bigger than the entrees (but all the food is great). We did three wine flights, the Able cheese platter, and entrees and then ordered appetizers becase we were still hungry. Overall we enjoyed Cru and will go back.
Okay… I like the idea… but it’s not really worth the money… there are better wine bars out there.
