I’m not knowledgeable about sushi so there isn’t much I can say. I go to Densetsu to accompany my wife who is always happy with the food. She thinks this is one of the better sushi places in Plano and the public agrees as this place is almost always busy.I typically get the seared tuna salad and this is very good. A nice mustard dressing on the greens, and tuna just barely seared. The dumplings are among the best I have had. And my wife always likes the sushi.
The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a joyous, hearty welcome by all the waiters in Japanese. We started off with some sushi. This was some of the best sushi I ever had. Unlike other places these the sushi here are huge and taste good too. Next I had their beef yakisoba. The broth was rich and flavorful. There was plenty of meat and the vegetables perfectly complemented the noodle soup. My friend had the beef udon and she also loved it. Lastly was had some other noodles whose name I forgot but I have a picture of. Needless to say they tasted amazing.Overall this restaurant was an excellent experience. The ambiance was lively, the food was great, and I will definitely come be coming back to try their other dishes
I have only ever give one rating of 5. I just don’t do it. This place came very close. I am not a big fan of Japanese food but my son is so we tried it for New Years Eve dinner. The place was packed which I took as a good sign and I wasn’t wrong. Food was absolutely awesome. I got the Lone Star Roll and it was absolutely wonderful. We ordered edamame and gyoza’s for appetizers and both were again the best I have ever had. My only negative comment is that seating is very limited and it is very crowded. We will go back often. Quality of the food is better than some Fine Dining places I have been. Price is very reasonable
This place has some of the tastiest sushi and rolls I’ve had in Plano, maybe even DFW. No place compares in presentation and flavor.That said, one, I wish it wasn’t so popular and busy! And two, I wish they had the service they used to have when they first opened. I usually order only sushi; wife and kid get teriyaki chicken. Every time they take my order thinking its for everyone. They don’t ask, they always assume. It’s annoying and winds up consuming time where my wife and kid’s food could be on order along with my sushi order, which always come out 10-20 minutes before the cooked food. While I really love this place, I may have to limit this place to myself and not big my family, which is very unfortunate. I’m selfish I guess (Denestu really is yummy, if you can get passed not always having the best service, and don’t mind waiting ).

Best sushi I’ve ever eaten. So fresh! The rolls are huge, so it’s very reasonably priced. I tend to over-order because their dishes are so big. But I’m always a full and happy customer!
MY FAVORITE PLACE OF ALL TIME. This is the best sushi in dfw. Everyone is so welcoming and the quality is top notch. We go there for Valentine’s every year and are never disappointes
