There are 3 entree choices: fried chicken, rotisserie roasted chicken, and salads with the option of adding pulled roasted chicken to them (for a few extra dollars). They offer several side dishes that are sure to appeal to every palate. Having tried both the fried and roasted chicken, myself and my dining companions agree that the roasted is much better than the fried. On our first visit, we tried the fried chicken, and we found it took quite a while to prepare (nearly 25 minutes) without warning of such a wait. We were dismayed when we saw several groups of diners that came in after us receive their meals and leave before our meal even arrived at our table. In all fairness, we don’t know what the other patrons ordered or if perhaps there was a mix-up with our order, though no one offered any apology when our food was served, thus we don’t know whether such a delay is to be expected when ordering the fried. In any case, after such a longer than expected wait, we found the fried chicken disappointing. It was ok, but nothing great, and certainly not what one would expect from a restaurant that is all about chicken. We decided to give the restaurant another chance and see if the rotisserie roasted chicken could redeem it, and most certainly it did. The meal came out much faster (as we’d expected with a chicken that’s been ready and spinning on a rotisserie just waiting for an order). The chicken was much more flavorful. The biggest disappointment on the return visit was that there were a few vacant tables that were clearly vacated before we walked in yet weren’t cleaned off until we were nearly done with our meal. This was not a peak time that we dined, and there were more than enough unencumbered staff present to have tended to the tables. No one likes ordering, trying to find a seat, and seeing dirty tables that no one has been concerned about clearing. If front of the house which is visible is unkept, it makes one wonder about the back of the house. Hopefully they’ll do a better job of clearing off tables expeditiously.
