Chinese Boba (Bubbles) Tea Plus Much More. Fat Straws is a Chinese Boba (bubbles) tea, which is a combination of tea, creamer, sugar and tapioca balls (boba). They provide a fat straw to suck up the bubbles. This location servers their drinks in a plastic glass which they seal tight. You have to poke your fat straw through the seal to get to your drink. It’s fun and novel. In general, I’m not a fan of the bubble tea. I do like Fat Straw because they have so much more than bubble tea. You can get smoothies, slushies, shakes and tea. My strawberry slushie was really good.

I just moved here from San Diego and was sad to move away from my favorite boba tea cafe that had more than 50 teas to choose from. I tried Fat Straws out and have twice had the Mango Peach with extra boba (bubbles). They use a fresh peach and mango sorbet.
Quality. I like that they use quality ingredients. Real tea. The Mandarin Silk hot tea …I swear it has healing properties.
