We had the chicken sliders and the burger sliders. Mediocre at best. The meat was dry in both. Typical bar food. Good beer and whiskey selection.
This place is packed every time I go by so I was anxious to try it. My son and I are attempting to identify the best burger in Dallas and surrounding areas and this place has them so it was a must on the list. I can’t say we were disappointed. We went on Sunday morning around 11AM and for once it wasn’t too crowded. The atmosphere it wonderful and the service was outstanding. The Pomme Frites were freshly made from potatoes and the dipping sauces were terrific. They come with 3. One is kinda of Cajun, the other is a mix of baked potato toppings and is so thick you need to eat it with utensils and then bite the fry. The third is a spiced ketchup that has Indian spices in it and my son raved over it. My son had Eggs Benedict and they were good but not what he was expecting. The yolks of the eggs were cooked hard and the Hollandaise sauce had spices we didn’t feel complimented the overall taste. The English Muffin also wasn’t toasted quite to perfection but overall the meal was okay. I got the Cheddar Burger and it was simply delicious. It comes with red onions, tomato, lettuce and I think mayo. I added mustard and ketchup and left off the tomato and lettuce and added a few dill pickle slices. The meat was cooked to perfection and tasted marvelous. The bun while not as toasted as I like, held up and did not get soggy which is very important to me.
Had been here on a weekend, the place is very upbeat, they had good beer options.. their burgers are delicious and filling..Very friendly waiters. place doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket..would definitely go again.
Great Pub – Great Food. It’s a standard bar with heavy woods and cement floor. The noise level is fairly high and gets louder as the night (read drinking) goes on. Service is a tad slow and the pub is showing its age just a little; however, I think it adds to the comfortable and inviting feel of the place. The selection of beers is immense. It takes awhile to work through the pages of offerings in the menu. I have enjoyed my options each time I visited. The food here is very good. The cheese fries were above average. They were not mushy or greasy, which can happen with lots of cheese. The Guinness-cheddar Burger was really good. The meat was thick, pink and juicy. The reduced Guinness created a great flavor that paired nicely with the meet. The tomato basil soup was the only let down. It had too much salt that over powered the other flavors. We really enjoyed our evening here. Big thumbs up.
Best burger I have had in a long time. Believe the hype–this is pub food done right. While the burgers make this place a standout on its own, it also does many of the other little things right to make it more than just a pub, but an epicurean destination (…well, just as long as you ignore the abysmal flourless chocolate cake for dessert). They have a great selection of whisky with some truly rare bottles on the wall to boot, and the fact that they do not gouge prices earns major respect in my book. The Mediterranean plate appetizer was a pleasantly executed surprise–featuring an intriguing roasted garlic hummus that was too different for words (in a good way). The burger was a thing of beauty. The smoked Guinness cheddar dared you not to crave it and should not be missed. The server saw I was meeting and catching up the whole friend and was perfectly content to let us sit and talk–splendidly observant and appreciated.Again, just eat and drink your fill, forget dessert exists…and your evening will be memorable.

Pub atmosphere, good food & beer. We like hitting up the Fillmore from time to time for a nice atmosphere, a few beers, and some good food. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but it’s never been terrible. It does get busy during peak hours, though, so beware!
