Great bubbletea. I prefer their fruity teas over their milk teas, but they still have an interesting selection nonetheless. You can adjust your sugar and ice levels to your choosing. I like the regular sugar and less ice. It’s overall not too sweet and not too loaded with ice that you can still enjoy your drink without it being watered down later on 🙂
Gong Cha opened a month ago and we finally got to try their tea. Its a Taiwan-style drink shop that started in China 11 years ago and has expanded into the USA. Their menu includes brewed tea, milk tea, slushes, fruit teas, and bubble tea.Its a nice bright interior that I’ve seen be busy in the evening. The dessert place, Mango Mango, next door and Gong Cha feed off each other and draw in crowds, mainly Asian customers who are more accustomed to milk tea or bubble tea (but this is gaining interested in a wider set of clients). We tried Lemon Ai-Yu with White Pearls, and a passion fruit sparkling tea.You are able to adjust the amount of ice and sugar in your drinks which means people accustomed to southern sweet tea can get something they like and I, liking it less sweet, and have it tailored to me.Both drinks were very good and so refreshing I expect we will come here frequently when the summer heat rolls in.This is different but something you should try out.
