Love Haute Mama – Here She Grows Again. Tiffany is doing something right. She opened her first store several years ago in Allen at McDermott & Custer. Two weeks ago, she had her soft opening at this new location. I had a chance to talk with Tiffany. She is growing gang busters. She has paired with a restaurant investor group where her desserts will be featured. Taverna Rosa at Preston & Spring Creek is an example.Haute Mama cupcakes are my favorite. I really like the heavy moist (brownie-like) texture of the cakes. The frosting is creamy and rich, but not overly sweet. If you have a large enough order, Haute Mama will work with you to design and color your orders for graduations, birthdays and any other event you want this style of dessert.Tiffany rotates her offering by day. She has a calendar showing her rotation. What you have available when you walk in one day may be different the next. On this particular visit, I selected Strawberry Lemonade, Chocolate Molten, and Dreamy Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter. The dreamy creamy was my favorite of the three with the surprise second reese cup buried in the middle of the cupcake. I thought the one visible on top was cool, but in the middle too? Awesome stuff!
