Recently we had dinner at Eddie Vs in Oaklawn. They mentioned they serve Henry’s homemade ice cream and the name was completely unfamiliar to me. The waitress said it was located in Plano and she spoke of it like it was something special. Imagine my surprise when we saw it tonight by accident after eating at Covinos across the street. It’s no frills inside but the ice cream rocks. I ordered chocolate chocolate chip and it was loaded with copious chocolate shavings. A ton in every mouthful. At first I thought I wouldn’t be impressed with the ice cream because I like dark chocolate and all of their chocolates were light in color. But it was delicious and a generous portion reasonably priced.
