Delicious and stuffed. Wow! Did not need to order the appetizer, although it was fantastic. Lots of food, very authentic. Plenty of left overs for lunch tomorrow.

HORRIBLE FOOD/ DO NOT GO THERE. I just went here today and ordered for butter chicken. It was the most disgusting washed down curry i ever had. It was bland, and disgusting. The chicken tasted like it was some left over meat from some other curry washed and re-used in some made up sauce with god knows what. They are pricey for the quantity they serve up. Save your money ur better off getting some frozen curry from wal mart frozen section.
Great Buffet. We arrived at Iravat on a Saturday for lunch, planning to order off the menu, not realizing they even had a buffet. We were greeted, seated and left to figure out on our own that apparently everyone does the buffet. As one server walked by I asked if we just help ourselves to the buffet, to which he responded in the affirmative. They also brought us water – didn’t ask if we wanted anything else.One the plus side, the food was delicious! I’m a sucker for chili chicken, and theirs did not disappoint.However, the lackluster service caused them to miss out on extra profit, as we would have ordered soft drinks and maybe something off the menu. Plus, the initial impression was not good and we considered leaving.In the end, the wonderful food redeemed them. Heck, they could have hurled insults at us, but with food that good I still would have left with a smile on my face.
This is the best indian resteraunt i have been to in the past year by far! After moving to Plano from California i have searched high and low for a place like this. I just had thier lunch buffett and was concerned about the price that i was about to pay because there were no menues or indication about what thier prices were, judging by the calaber of the people eating i prepped myself for an expencive meal so dug in to the buffett. I sampled about 90% of what Irivats had to offer and was in shock as to how well prepared all the dishs were! After being catered to by thier staff completely satisfied by thier food (tika masala was phenominal!!) i was prepared for the bill……. honestly i was ready to pay$15-$30 for the awesome food and great service…….. to my suprise it was under $10!!!!!!!! I think we all know that dinner meals are much better than buffett so you can count on my return many times in the future to Irivats. I am truly impressed with this place, coming from a chef and a critic if you want your moneys worth and traditional Indian food you have try this place :-)Taste Bud
Service can be weak but overall they try. Food is very good.
