I try to tell my wife that going to dinner at 6 on a Friday in Plano is going to be a madhouse. But time is just a concept for her. So we chose the Italian Bistro hoping it wouldn’t be full.This small (15 table) place is hidden at Park & Custer and opened in 2016.Even with the crush of Friday night service wasn’t bad. The waiter was a total loss, but the owner got us drinks, took our order, brought out the food, got extra bread, and brought the check. The only thing the waiter did was refill out tea.Sharon had spaghetti with meat sauce, and I had a pizza. The spaghetti was very good and she cleaned the plate. We’ll come back for this alone.My pizza was very good, much better than I expected. The crust was thin – crispy on the bottom but no charring (Dallas seems to dislike the traditional charring). Inside the crust was tender. I prefer more sauce with my pizza but it still had a lot of topping and was very good.
