The place has new owners. They seem really nice and really cared. All I want is a reasonably priced home cooking place where I can get a decent meal with some veggies. They definitely delivered today. Catfish special was good, mashed potatoes were great. Changes are coming. I hope they keep the salad bar and the daily specials. I really hope this place makes the right decisions.
Great place, went to the Poor guy but line was too long so went here instead. Not disappointed in the least, great place, awesome breakfast…enjoy!
Tired of the lines and wait and the national franchises? This local joint hits the spot for the Mr. Hunter. Chicken fried steak :: huge and flaky. But, not a good option for Miss Gatherer 🙁 $4.99 for one waffle; good price point for omnivore; not for vegetarians. Service is always good and friendly.

The food is constantly very good. Good prices and many choice on the extensive menu, with breakfast served all day… well not quite all day, they close at 2:30pm, the only negative.
Awesome Club Sandwich. I didn’t want breakfast, so I went off the map a bit with a club sandwich. WOW. I might never get breakfast there again. HUGE club, and it was delicious. The meats, cheeses, lettuce and tomatoes were about as fresh as one will ever see in a diner-type place such as this. I will definitely have it again.The portions here are really large. And the prices are fairly small. Unless you have an extra stomach, you might be taking home leftovers.
