We decided we wanted breakfast for dinner and choose to travel to East Plano to a little neighborhood cafe. Its definitely based in the neighborhood with simple western decoration and a little bit of motorcycles. There were a good number of regulars that the waitress jokes around with.We got waffle and pancake plates. I liked the pancakes a lot, but the waffle was soggy and we wouldn’t try this again.Still this would be a nice place for a pancake dinner.
With the high rating I was expecting a lot more. The mashed potatoes definitely came out of a box. The grits taste like cardboard. The chicken fried steak is decent but overshadowed by how bad the other food is. Maybe the other things on their menu are good but I’m not sticking around to find out. I hate giving bad reviews, but this place was severely disappointing.
