They make a good burger. And although a good burger is key to a good local burger place, the other items are what often makes the difference for me. I am very partial to their thin fries (cut in house), their fried jalapenos and their milkshakes. Make note that they also have thick fries, but I highly recommend the thin ones over the thick ones. Their milkshakes are a bit pricey but they are the hand-spun ones where they give them to you the metal container they spun them in. Very old school and very tasty.The service can get a bit slow at times, a mix of staffing, the lunch rush and that I believe everything is cooked to order.I definitely recommend JCs
I’ve got to say that this is still one of the best burgers around. It’s certainly the best of the JC’s and worth a stop. It’s the original one and sets the bar still.
One of the best burger places in Plano!. I had the 1/2 burger with green chiles, pepper jack cheese and grilled onions. Delicious. Great sweet potatoes fries. Great service, great food.
Thumbs up. I liked this place for their cheese fries and blue bell milkshakes.

1/4 Cheesburger and Tot’s. We hit the counter at about 12:15 (so peak of Lunch time) we ordered two 1/4 lbs cheesburgers, two small drinks and two orders of tots for a cost of about $15.00. It took about 15 minutes for our food to be sent to our table.The burger was hot right from the grill, tots were the same. The burger was ok, nothing special the tots were good, no chicken or fish taste to then so that was nice.All in all Scotty P’s still has the best tasting burger so far for me.
