What a pleasant surprise. I have never been to a Jimmy’s Egg, so I did not know what to expect. My initial impressions are a clean and bright Denny’s. It has the same coloration and diner look of a Denny’s. That is where the comparison stops. The two servers were polite, cheery and happy to be there. They made it feel welcoming. I was looking for a healthy option, so I ordered Skinny Jimmy Breakfast. My expectations were low, but they blew me away with both presentation and taste. The meal consists of yogurt, granola, strawberries, cantaloupe and an English Muffin. The central strawberry was cut to look like a flower. The others cut pieces were placed around the rim of the bowl. The cut slices of cantaloupe were placed nicely. I took a pic of the presentation. Taste was very good. I loved the crunch of the granola and the fresh fruit.Overall, I was really impressed. I hope this is how all Jimmy Egg’s work. They just opened, so they could be on a new opening high and wanting to impressed. Either way, I had a great experience.
