I went on Friday night with my mom and our boyfriends and it was an absolute blast. We all had an amazing time and incredible food. The beer selection was very cool and every course was delicious. BEST tiramisu ever. We also had a wonderful waitress named Angie who helped us with the menu and provided incredible service. We all loved it so much and will definitely be back there again soon!

Reservation Policy not for Everyone. On a recent Saturday out to celebrate my husband’s birthday, we had a very disappointing customer service issue at Jorgs. It clearly states on their door that they do not accept reservations for parties of less than 6. Without reservations, we went early in the evening to avoid a long wait. When we arrived, the hostess informed us there would be a considerable wait for a table. However, we clearly observed that there were tables for 4 that were unoccupied. When we inquired about them, the hostess said they were reserved. They were not adjacent tables, so the math did not make sense since 6 people cannot sit at a table for 4. The hostess seemed confused at my inquiry and retrieved the manager. The manager said they were indeed reserved, and gave an explanation that essentially translated to We dont conform to the 6 person limit for some people. She suggested we sit at the bar, which was full, or wait on the sidewalk outside in the over 90-degree Texas heat. Since we are not some people, we decided to forgo the pleasure of Jorgs for the foreseeable future. If you want to enjoy Jorgs as a couple, call ahead to determine if you qualify as some people or make reservations with a group of at least 6.

Enjoyable. A friend and I enjoyed a noon meal at this restaurant and were pleased with the food offering and the wait staff. The restaurant is quaint, intimate, and reminiscent of European cafes. Downtown Plano parking was further away than we would have liked, but probably not much of a problem for the able bodied.

This restaurant is fantastic. I had Joseph as a server this past Saturday and I have never had Austrian food before and he was a perfect tour guide to the menu. From the pretzels to the original Wiener schnitzel that I had everything was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. I plan on visiting more frequently. Bravo Jorg for having amazing food and amazing service!!!

Delicious and Authentic. We stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant and were so pleased we did. The food and atmosphere is very authentic. My friend is a very picky eater and doesn’t like to broaden her horizons food-wise so she was a little skeptical. She trusts me though and found out that she likes German/Austrian food! It was nice to learn that the owner seeks out only the best meats and ingredients for his food. The only bad part is that this restaurant is so far away from our house. I would eat here at least once a week! I’ll bring my brother the next time he’s in town and he can reminisce the time he lived in Germany.

Best food and service. I came into Jorg’s Cafe Vienna for the first time this past week and let me explain to you my experience. First, we came in rather early for a dinner. The restaurant had just opened about 15 minutes prior to our arrival and we were happily greatly by a young gentleman by the name of Joseph. He was our waiter and did a fantastic job. He suggested to us the special which was a medley of all their 6 sausages. His knowledge of all the intricacies that went into the dish made us feel very confident in his suggestions. The food tasted absolutely divine. We started off with the fried cheese and were completely blown away. It had flavor, depth, and kept us wanting more. Following out appetizer we had the special that our lovely waiter suggested and also ordered the Jager Schnitzel. The food was so delicious I can’t even begin to describe it. Everything had such flavor. The cream sauce was a combination of creamy deliciousness mixed with mushrooms that made me eat every last bite of it. The special that they had on that specific day completely blew us away as well. We were able to sample all their sausages and had their kraut and red cabbage. The meal was amazing, and the server helped us pick the perfect beers to accompany our meals. After feeling completely satisfied our server suggested the Torte and the Tiramisu saying how delectable they were, and believe me he was right. I have never had a tiramisu that tasted as creamy and lite as I did on that day. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and will definitely be going back to visit Joseph. I never received such warm service from someone while being attentive. Brave Jorg’s for having amazing food and hiring the best server we’ve ever had.
