What a lovely little place in Old Town Plano. The tiny layout is quaint. The walls are acme brick with all kinds of Austrian flags and paraphernalia. The wood bar sits to the right. The owner and bartenders are very interactive and pleasant. They are happy to walk you through all their beer options. In addition to the bar, there are about ten tables packed into the place that are waited by female servers in Dirndl dresses. It’s really a great atmosphere. The beer options are a reason to come all by itself. I tried two different Dunkels and a Kellerbie. I really liked drinking it in a large ceramic stein. For dinner, I tried Liptauer Teller (soft pretzels), Jorg’s Wurst Sampler and Austrian Scheiter Haufen (bread pudding). The pretzel came with mustard dip. Both were very good. The wurst samples were soft and flavorful. I wished I had more. The sauerkraut was as good as the wurst. My bread pudding was okay, but the rum sauce on the side was amazing. Overall, this place rocked. It is expensive, but do enjoy yourself here.
