Try the bacon wrapped jalapeos! They are to die for!My son got the Patty Melt and I got the Bacon Cheese Burger. The meat is totally awesome. The pickle comes sliced lengthwise. They bring one thin slice. Ask for more up front if you are a pickle fan. Service is great. Condiments are good quality. It is always packed so be ready to wait a bit for seating if necessary Very good food and we will go back. I knocked them down a bit on the rating because I hate soggy buns. I must admit I add mayo and ketchup and mustard so that was a contributing factor. However it shouldn’t make the bun fall apart. I hate eating a burger where I end up tossing the bun because it disintegrated.That said the food is still outstanding and we will go back often. Price is right too
First time dining at this location and felt it was hit and miss. I liked the patty melt and the milkshake, but didn’t care for the Parmesan truffle fries, which I normal love at other establishments. 1st timer at Kenny’s Burger Joint, it was a great atmosphere, customer service, and the food was pretty good. Cheesy fries were very good but rather on the small size for the cost. Hubs blue cheese burger was very good but my patty melt was just okay, will not order it again. I’ve had much, much better. We will definitely give it another try!
Kenny’s Burger Joint is new to this area of Plano. It’s very visible to the traffic moving up and down Preston Rd. Service was jovial and interactive. They made it playful and fun. The atmosphere is open and spartan. The use of steel, cement and black/red accents creates a place you enjoy having a burger and a beer. Burgers here okay for me. I really like the rating scale for rare to well done on the inside of the burger, but the over all flavor is not there. The buns are a bit too dry. I probably will not be back given my experience with Kenny’s Wood Fire Grill. Granted this is a different restaurant, but it’s all Kenny.
Honestly GREAT! Food is awesome, service is great, drinks are strong! What could be better!? When I am driving home and stuck in traffic on Preston road, its just so much better to pull in to Kenny’s!
This bacon burger just changed my life.
There’s something off with the meat. Low quality? Frozen? Just wasn’t great. I didn’t finish the burger which is something that never happened. Fries were over done and bland. And why are tater tots $4? For these prices you can get much better burgers. Wait staff wasn’t great either.
