Really liked it! Was in for a late dinner in the bar last night with friends. We ordered two salads (Greek and Italian Chopped), two pizzas, two pasta dishes and a few appetizers. The crostini was delicious. The Hot Mess pizza was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

I expected to rate this a 3.5, but decided it would be fairer at 4.0. While there were a bunch of things that I didn’t like, I decided that they were transcient and mostly not the restaurant’s fault. This is part of the Kenny’s chain. They have BBQ, hamburger, italian, and now pizza. All of their restaurants are well done and I highly enjoy them. This one, on the busy intersection of Park and Preston, is the standard busily finished. This chain tends to be a little too noisy. Today the table next to us had three absolutely screaming children, running around the restaurant. But its not the restaurant’s fault that these parents are horrible people.I could complain about the decor in that the walls are filled with photos of patrons, and I spent the whole mean staring at stupid restaurant photos of people (largely from other Kenny’s restaurants). This wasn’t fun, but overall the place was not bad.The waitress, despite the busy lunchtime, was quick and pleasant. She kept our drinks filled throughout the meal, without disturbing us, which is a very nice touch.I should say that the iced tea was only $2.50. Its almost to the point where I will refuse to pay $3 for tea that costs the restaurant basically nothing to make.We had two pizzas, the Philly cheesesteak, and the original pepperoni. The Philly had beef, nicely caramelized onions, and too much cheese. (I didn’t know it was possible for there to be too much cheese!) I found it slightly bland, but Sharon and Karen liked it a lot. Karen noted that although there was a lot of cheese, it had the correct, slightly stretchy feel to it that is a good sign in pizza. The Pepperoni was excellent. There was just a slight amount of grease to give it taste and make it authentically East Coast without making it greasy. From the pepperoni alone I’d make this my 4th favorite in Plano behind Taverna Rossa, ZaLat, and Marinara Pizza.
Hands down absolutely the best pizza I have ever had south of the Mason Dixon line! Awesome crust! Stretchy cheese. Wonderful toppings. You won’t be disappointed. We got the Hot Mess. We also ordered the wings. They come out very hot temperature wise. Very large wings. Not a fan though. They just were okay. We didn’t order a salad but will next time. They were huge and looked awesome
