We love the Kenny’s family of restaurants so we had to try this. We went for lunch on a Saturday. I had the Brisket plate with stuffed jalapeos as my starter. The jalapeos were stuffed with Brisket and a hint of cheddar and battered and deep fried. The food was plentiful and tasty
The brisket is wonderful. I don’t know what they use for a rub but it has such great flavors. I have used takeout and I have dined in. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive. I enjoyed my visit.
I ordered the Kenny’s hammered beef brisket, with a side of macaroni and cheese. When the entree came out it didn’t look like that much food. But, I wound up not even being able to finish it all. This place is really nice, good food, and not that expensive when you consider it’s location.
Kenny’s is a great establishment with good bbq, drinks, service and atmosphere. Ordered the sampler to get a taste of it all. The chicken tenders are the best Ive ever had. Brisket is outstanding and the mac n cheese is to die for. The service and hospitality is second to none. Liz the manager is super cool and if you play your cards right, she just might make you one of her signature key lime pie martini’s! Will definately be back to visit!
We are visiting here from Kentucky and after reading the reviews, decided to try it. Oh god it is SO good. I had the lean brisket and creamed spinach. My dinner guest had the brisket sandwich and the smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. We also shared the corn bread. The quote of the night was that she had just eaten a bit of heaven. Besides the food, the service was just terrific! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone!
The Best, Period!. We tried Kenny’s the other night, all I can say is simply the best! The food was outstanding, I had the lean brisket and it was mouth watering. My wife had the sampler platter and everything was great! The service was a good as the food and the drink menu is very creative. By the way, try the Lakewood beers, they are great. Tell your friends, your colleagues, everyone, this one is worth it!
Just Go!. Disclaimer: I am not much of a BBQ fan. I generally spend more time criticizing BBQ than eating it.Having said that, just go eat here. Take the kids, take your out-of-town guests, or go by yourself, but just go. I can’t tell you what to try. We tried a little of most everything, and I can’t pick a favorite.Close your eyes and just pick a few things at random. It’s not going to matter what you get. It’s all that good.I’m too stuffed to talk about this one any more. Just go.
