Lita’s is in a barely visible location but is well worth searching for. Its a true Mexican restaurant (not TexMex).The interior is clean and bright with an attractive bar, especially for a strip shopping center).We were seated quickly and served nicely as well which we appreciated since one of our number was 40 minutes late and we were already hungry. While we were waiting for our order both the waiter and manager stopped by for long chats with my wife and sister-in-law, all in Spanish. I don’t know what was said by everyone was happy so it must have been interesting.We had sour-cream enchiladas, steak a la Mexicana, fish tacos, and shrimp tacos. Everyone was raving about their food. My wife and sister-in-law can be picky but their tacos were devoured. The cole slaw along with them was slightly out of the ordinary but they both said they wanted to come back for more. My Steak Mexicana was very nice grilled pieces of steak in a highly spicy tomato and pepper sauce. This was marvelously hot.All of this was in line with my previous visits. Give the location, which has hosted several failed restaurants, I was skeptical, but this is immediately one of my recommended favorites.
