The food is always great. I have to hold back from giving the fifth star because they never have the peach cobbler. Should be a criminal offense to allow yourself to run out of peach cobbler so early in the day.
Amazing BBQ. You go up to the counter to order. The meat comes wrapped in pieces of paper with bread. Once you’ve found a place to eat, there is a big vat of BBQ sauce, pickles and other toppings to eat with your meal. The beef brisket is excellent – tender, smoky, a lot of fat but the meat is well seasoned and goes perfectly with the BBQ sauce. The mac n cheese is to die for. So glad I came here on my first visit to Texas.
We drove down to Plano once just to eat here. We haven’t driven back. It’s not bad, it’s just not worth the trip to Plano just to eat here. Food was okay. A little more expensive than some other bbq joints. It was kinda crowded, and the place is kinda small. I prefer Hutchins in McKinney.
