Average food, decent service. My only complaint is that they need to turn on the air conditioner! I am a thin person and it was SO hot in there that I was sweating from just sitting in there! I think management is trying to be cheap and save money on the electric bill but the staff was dripping sweat! It was 80 degrees up in there!
This is a nice out-of-the-way restaurant trying to serve unique Texas foods. For myself I’d rate this a 4.5, but my wife can never get something served without too much chile in it (she is sensitive to the chiles!). They waitstaff always quickly and cheerfully recooks something or replaces it with something else, which is a VERY positive sign. But because they almost always give her something to spicy she rather refused to return here.I’m sad because pretty much everything on the menu is interesting and excellent!
