Casual order-on-counter restaurant in Plano. It serves Mediterranean food and so don’t miss meat and falafel. The food is fresh and tastes delicious. You mix and choose your own food and you can ask for recommendations. The employees here are welcoming and pay attention to details while preparing your food. I loved the chicken I had and the falafels over here will never disappoint you. Do Try..1. Garlic and carrot Humus.2. Cilantro sauce. 3. Pita chips and Humus 4. Falafel- Served Hot5. Mediterranean lemonade (tastes a little sweet and has a nice soothing , fresh taste)The place is huge and maintained clean. Its mostly crowded during the Lunch Hours on weekdays and so a good option can be a takeaway. So when in Plano, worth a visit !!
I will eat here at least twice a week from here on out. The staff is hands down the BEST service I have ever had, including sit down restaurants, and the food is incredible. DO NOT miss this place!!
Fresh, high quality food at an extremely affordable price in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants that are overpriced. It rekindled my love for Mediterranean food. I highly recommend it
I wish I can really explain how amazing this place is. Very spacious and comfortable environment. Simple but perfect. They have three different kinds of hummus which I’ve never seen before. They have carrot, beet and regular hummus. They make their own flat bread which is the best bread I’ve ever had and I’m middle eastern and grew up back home and nothing beats their bread! The platter is big buoy get a choice of 2 dips 2 salads rice/potatoes/beets and then your choice of falafel, meat or chicken. I would suggest the beet hummus. It is phanaominal the babaganooj is good as well! The platter was about $8. Which is cheap for such a big portion. The workers were so polite and helpful and very patient since it was my first time and I had a line behind me. The owner came to the table an introduced himself. Have us a free drink, an order of falafels and bread. He is also Arabic. We felt very welcomed by him. This place is out of my way but I will make sure I visit as much as I can, it’s worth the hour drive!!! If you don’t go you have no idea what you’re missing out on!
Casual and Authentic. Mama Pita is a casual, order at the counter, mediterranean restaurant. The food is pretty authentic and tastes delicious. Very good prices, service, and friendly staff. You customize your own dish and it does not disappoint!
In a bind. Would only recommend if you’re in a bind. It’s so so fast mediterranean food. Fadi’s is much better.
Mama Pita. Great surprise. Fantastic options, almost too many. Next time I will be less aggressive and build n the flavors, not the options. Great diversity in the restaurant. Tells you something about the authenticity of the ingredients and flavors.
