Went here for the Wednesday brunch. Order there daily special menu,Vegetable plate and coffee. Service was good and we were served within 5 min. Portion was too good for breakfast.Everything was freshly and nicely prepared. Priced very reasonably a great place for a lazy and less priced weekend brunch .

My daughter and I found this restaurant after going to mall. It’s raining outside. Great southern comfort food! Great service! We will definitely return!

I hope the food is better than the service. If we ever get our food, that is. RUDE server.

I was excited to try Mamas Daughters Diner. I’d often passed by it and made plans to go for dinner, but since it closes relatively early, we never made it in time. When we finally got to go, the bright diner decor was inviting and we were seated quickly. The service was wonderful and until the food came out, we had a good experience. There are daily meat and three specials, with different sides and entrees available on different days which I thought was cool. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to my expectations. Much of it tasted like it came right out of a can. I’d go again to try the pie, but not to have a meal.

This seems like a place I would like. The staff are very friendly and helpful but each time I’m here, once a year even though I live close, it’s clear that the stars just aren’t aligning. I leave disappointed and/or hungry each time. This visit they were out of 2 things I asked for even though they were offered on the menu and whiteboard. Maybe they are trying to keep prices low and can’t afford quality. I would suggest Norma’s on the tollway.

Country Boy Meets City Slicker. Boy, how do you review Mama’s. What point of view or reference should I use. Let’s start with the decor. It’s a diner with checkboard floors, red vinyl seats and silver swirl tables. Think stereotype diner, and you have it nailed.Let’s move to the servers. All of them wear a mix mash of their personal clothes with a front single apron. All of them appear to be in the upper age brackets (please do not blast me, trying to be factual with what my eyes saw). They are brash, to the point, with no frills. All that is missing from the server look and style is the name Flo on the name tag and a traditional diner hat.Now let’s add the atmosphere. The servers are brash and stereotypical, but if you roll with it, they are simply awesome. Sarah was our server and might best be described as salty. My lunch partner today was a ranchhand that raises cattle. He had Sarah’s number. He gave it right back with honey this and sweetie that. Soon she was calling me Leroy. Several times we laughed, hooted and hollered. We threated to stiff her tip, she threatened to upcharge for hardship. It truly truly was fun, enjoyable and laughing. Now the food. It’s just diner servicable. The grilled chicken is placed on a hamburger grill and cooked with low seasoning. The red beans are average. The pot roast was tender, but a little on the fatty side. The brown gravy needed to reduce the salt. The turnip greens were over spiced and a little too salty. While the food was average. I will be back to give Sarah a hard time. I know she will be ready and give it right back and both of us will laugh our heads off.

My family, including 4 grandchildren, loved it. We all ordered something different. Everything was great, except the meatloaf was dry. But, they were happy to replace it. The desserts are wonderful. The pies are homemade. The comfort meals and homemade pies make this a great family eatery.
